Plaques donated by B&B Signs commemorate each of the four corners of the Heritage Farm’s Children’s Garden. The rain garden (shown in the background) was assembled using a mixture of sand, compost and traditional soil to capture rain water. Sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students from nearby Visintainer Middle School planted prairie plants native to Northeast Ohio with deep roots that complement the soil and allow for more efficient water collection.
