Business and property owners and drivers who use state Route 18 visited the Medina Municipal Airport's meeting room Tuesday to view Ohio Department of Transportation diagrams of proposed safety changes to the road between Windfall Road to the west and Medina Line Road to the east. A red line showed where proposed guardrails could be installed. A half-moon shape shown on the diagrams indicated a location for a traffice device called a "loon," where trucks and other large vehicles can make a U-turn with extra space at an intersection to change directions and reach a destination.
