Ken Chiesa introduces himself to a crowd estimated at 250 people at the opening of Robby's, a drug abuse recovery center now located in the former Medina Steak & Seafood restaurant at 438 W. Liberty St. in Medina. Chiesa, a graduate of the Medina County Drug Court program, is one of nine members of the nonprofit Robby's board of directors. Rob Brandt, a leader of the group that helped open the facility, said a two-year funding grant stipulates that five of nine board members must be recovery program members.
